Who we are

Dubai Property Lab ("DPL", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Quintessential Services LLC, a Delaware (USA) company. Our website is dubaipropertylab.com.

What data we collect

DPL is an intelligence platform. At V1 launch, we do not require registration and collect minimal personal data. Specifically:

  • Usage data via Google Analytics 4: Pages visited, session duration, device type, general location (country/city level). This data is anonymised and does not identify you personally. GA4 is configured with IP anonymisation enabled.
  • Email address (voluntary): If you choose to subscribe to the DPL weekly digest using the signup form, we collect your email address. This is entirely optional and not required to access any content on DPL.
  • Contact communications: If you contact us directly (by email), we retain records of that correspondence.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment information, or any sensitive personal data at V1.

How we use data

  • Analytics data is used to understand how DPL is used, improve the platform, and measure which content is valuable.
  • Email addresses collected via the digest signup are used solely to send the DPL weekly digest. We do not sell, share, or transfer your email to third parties.
  • We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Legal basis (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your data on the following bases:

  • Legitimate interests: Analytics data to understand platform usage and improve DPL.
  • Consent: Email newsletter subscription — opt-in only, unsubscribe at any time.

Cookies

DPL uses Google Analytics cookies to understand site usage. These are analytics cookies only — we do not use advertising, tracking, or social media cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months (GA4 default). Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the communication.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, or a jurisdiction with applicable data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at peter@shosty.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Third-party services

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as DPL grows and new features are introduced (such as user registration). Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date.
